What is MarketSongs Proof?
MarketSongs Proof is an authorship record generated for a listing. It bundles objective signals with the creator's own rights and AI disclosures into a certificate that anyone can verify.
File hashes
Cryptographic fingerprints of uploaded files, so a file can be matched against the record later.
Creator rights declaration
The creator's signed statement that they own or control the rights needed to sell the work.
AI-assisted disclosure
Whether AI tools were involved, plus the tool category and rights status declared by the creator.
Metadata snapshot
A frozen copy of the listing's key metadata at certification time.
Proof certificate
A certificate number and downloadable PDF you can share or archive.
Public certificate verification
Each certificate has a public verification page. Anyone with the certificate number can confirm it exists, see the recorded timestamp and declarations, and check that the listing carries a valid Proof badge.
What Proof does not guarantee
