General license terms

"Work" means the listed song, lyrics, beat or package. "Creator" is the seller; "Buyer" is the purchaser. "License Package" is the specific set of rights and files offered for a price.

Basic and Commercial licenses are non-exclusive. The Creator may continue to license the same Work to other Buyers. You may use the Work only within the scope described by your package.

An exclusive license removes or locks the listing after purchase so it cannot be sold again. Exclusivity applies as described in your contract PDF.

A full rights transfer is a separate agreement in which ownership rights are transferred. It requires a dedicated contract and is only available when the Creator enables it for a listing.

Buyers receive only the files included in the purchased package. Downloads are payment-gated and may be blocked if a listing is frozen pending review.

License purchases are generally final once files and the contract PDF are delivered, because digital goods cannot be "returned" in the same way as physical products. If you believe a listing was materially misrepresented, duplicated without rights, or delivered without the files promised in your package, contact support with your purchase ID and contract number.

During beta we review eligible cases manually. Typical outcomes include a corrected file delivery, a license correction, or a refund when the Work cannot be used as described. Chargebacks filed without contacting us first may result in account suspension while the case is reviewed.

Creators warrant that they own or control all rights necessary to sell each Work and its included files, and that disclosures (including AI usage) are accurate.

Buyers are responsible for using each Work within the scope of the purchased license and for retaining their contract PDF as proof of the rights granted.

MarketSongs provides the marketplace, contract generation and authorship records. It is not a party to the license between Creator and Buyer except as described in these terms.
